Families across Essex are in for a treat this September as the hugely popular Be Like Blippi Tour arrives at Southend’s Cliffs Pavilion for two exciting performances.

Presented by Round Room Live and Moonbug Entertainment in partnership with MCG Family, this brand-new live stage show brings children’s favourite adventurer Blippi and his best friend Meekah to life in an energetic and interactive experience designed especially for youngsters aged two to seven.

Packed with music, dancing, laughter and plenty of opportunities for children to join in, the show encourages curiosity, exploration and learning through fun-filled adventures. Young fans can expect to hear favourite songs, including the ever-popular Excavator Song, alongside newer tracks such as Go Go Go, Blippi’s latest single with Yellowcard.

Speaking ahead of the UK tour, Blippi revealed that one of his dream adventures would be taking Meekah to a working farm to see tractors, combine harvesters and feed the animals.

When asked why curiosity is such an important superpower for children, he said: “Curiosity makes learning so much fun. When you’re curious, you never stop learning. There’s always something amazing waiting to be discovered if you just ask enough questions.”

The live show places a strong emphasis on getting children moving, singing and dancing along. Blippi believes this is an important part of learning and development.

“When you sing and dance, you’re not just having fun, you’re building strength, learning rhythm and expressing yourself,” he explained.

Fans attending the Southend performances can also look forward to plenty of Blippi’s trademark enthusiasm, imaginative adventures and perhaps even a few new dance moves.

Blippi says the one thing he hopes children take home from the show is a desire to keep exploring and learning.

“I hope they leave feeling curious, excited to explore and inspired to keep learning at home,” he said.

For children seeing Blippi live for the first time, he has a simple message:

“This is going to be the most wonderful adventure. Get ready to dance, get ready to sing, and most importantly, bring your loudest RAWRs!”
