Between Sea and Sky – Southend Vox Chamber Choir Concert at St John’s Church, Southend-on-Sea

Developed through the Adopt a Music Creator programme — a partnership between Making Music and Sound and Music, funded by PRS Foundation and the Philip and Dorothy Green Music Trust — the work stands as a testament to creative collaboration. The choir itself played an important role in shaping the piece, contributing poetry written by its members and local contemporary poets. The result is a performance deeply rooted in the voices, culture, and environment of Southend.

In addition to this premiere, Southend Vox Chamber will perform a carefully curated selection of music themed around nature and the elements — a reflection on the beauty, power, and serenity of the world around us.
