Christmas at the Marina – Big Tree Switch-On (Southend-on-Sea)

Get ready for a brand-new festive tradition as the Marina hosts its first ever Christmas at the Marina – Big Tree Switch-On. From 3pm to 7pm, the waterfront will be transformed into a cosy seasonal hub filled with great food, local makers, and plenty of Christmas cheer.

Visitors can enjoy Xmas street food from Drift Los, warming mulled wine and hot chocolate shots, and a selection of beers from LOS Brewery. For those wanting something creative, wreath making takes place at 2:30pm with The Blooming Camper (booking required), offering the perfect festive activity before the main event begins.

A brilliant line-up of small business stalls will offer festive gifts, crafts and treats, making it an ideal opportunity to support local traders while getting into the Christmas spirit. Throughout the afternoon, live festive music from Robert Warren will set the tone and create a warm, community atmosphere.

The highlight of the evening is, of course, the Big Tree Switch-On, with a beautiful Christmas tree generously donated by Greystarling Antiques.
