A Celebration of Jazz Culture

Opened in 2016 and operating as a registered charity, The Jazz Centre UK is more than a museum — it’s a full-blown cultural hub. The centre preserves, promotes and performs jazz in all its forms, offering a rich blend of heritage and live action.

Inside, you’ll find a treasure trove of jazz memorabilia, including:

🎺 Louis Armstrong’s “Special” trumpet
🎹 Sir John Dankworth’s first piano
🗂️ The Humphrey Lyttelton archive – including his desk, instruments, scrapbooks, and rare personal correspondence, generously donated by his family and Eton College
