Southend-on-Sea City Council is excited to announce the dates for this year’s Business Expos in the City.
Following the success of the Southchurch Business Expo in 2023, the council’s economic development team has organized two more expos for later this year, in both Southchurch and Leigh-on-Sea.
The expos aim to create a business support marketplace, offering valuable guidance to both new and established businesses. Young entrepreneurs and aspiring traders can receive advice on setting up their ventures, while exhibiting businesses will have the opportunity to promote job openings. Additionally, these events will highlight the broad range of services and products available across the City.

“I’m thrilled to see the Southchurch Business Expo return, alongside its expansion into Leigh-on-Sea. These events provide an excellent opportunity for local businesses, professionals, and residents to come together, showcasing Southchurch as a vibrant place to work and live.
I would like to thank the economic development team for organizing and supporting the project, which received extremely positive feedback from the previous event. I also extend my gratitude to Project Southchurch for their work in making last year’s expo such a success, paving the way for a bigger and better 2024. It is particularly encouraging to see the continued growth and success of our local enterprises here in our City.”
