Light Up Leigh

Light Up Leigh brings the community together in Leigh-on-Sea to begin the Christmas celebrations. The event offers a festive evening for families, with children’s activities and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the season locally. Taking place on 27 November 2026 from 4pm to 8pm, the celebrations will be centred at 71–73 Elm Road.

The evening will also extend into the High Street, where road closures are planned from 3pm to 8pm. Local shops will be open later, giving visitors the chance to browse special offers while enjoying hot drinks and tasty treats from businesses in the area. It’s a great opportunity to support Leigh’s independent traders and spend time together in a lively seasonal setting. For booking information, visit leighonseatowncouncil.gov.uk.
