With 27 years in Essex Police and extensive experience in public protection, particularly in Southend and Basildon, Ch. Insp Browning brings a seasoned approach to his role. Committed to strengthening community engagement, he has already begun gathering feedback from residents and community groups.

Although incidents of violence and knife crime have declined, Ch. Insp Browning acknowledges that public perception may differ, especially with frequent social media reports.
