Southend Fireworks 2025 are back! One of the city’s most popular annual attractions returns this autumn, bringing spectacular free firework displays to the seafront every Saturday night from 27 September to 15 November 2025.
The Southend Seafront Fireworks 2025 season promises dazzling ten-minute displays, launched from a barge positioned around 400 metres out to sea. Crowds can enjoy the show all along Marine Parade, but the best atmosphere is always found around the City Beach area, right in front of the arcades, pubs, and takeaways.

Now celebrating its 29th year, the Southend Fireworks displays are organised by the Seaside Partnership. The event continues to be one of the highlights of the autumn calendar for residents and visitors alike, drawing thousands of people to the seafront each week.
Funding for the Southend Fireworks 2025 season comes from generous donations by Southend-on-Sea City Council, Adventure Island, Sealife Adventure, Chinnery’s, Seafood Shack, Kingpins Bowling, Southend’s amusement arcades, the Essex Chambers of Commerce, and other local businesses.
