Time to update your address books as local charity moves
Southend in Sight is closing its doors at 117 Hamlet Court Road from 11 April 2025, and moving to its new home at:
Ground Floor, SAVS
29-31 Alexandra Street
Southend-on-Sea, SS1 1BW
The team will not be holding any appointments or drop-ins for the rest of April, in order to give staff time to close down and move locations.
Southend in Sight’s new offices will be open from Thursday, 1 May 2025, and they are looking forward to welcoming you all to the new space.
Meanwhile, Southend in Sight’s charity shop will remain open on Hamlet Court Road, where it is business as usual.
CEO Lucy Martin says:
“A move to central Southend is a positive step for the charity, with good transport links and an open, fully accessible space on the ground floor. This gives us the opportunity to offer an enhanced service with private space for consultations and to try out a few new ideas.”
