Christmas for some people can be a reminder of loss and isolation which is why our Charity Goldies makes a huge effort to bring as many people as possible together for fun and laughter, to entertain, meet up with old and new friends and to give them something to celebrate.
With thanks to the Julia Rausing Trust for their fantastic support for our Goldies Christmas Party on 5th December at Braintree Community Centre 19- 21 Bocking End, Braintree, CM7 9AE from 2pm – 4pm.
Cllr Jonathon Ayten from Braintree District Council will be opening Goldies Christmas Party which will bring Goldies Essex Sing&Smile attendees together for some festive fun and cheer.
Participants at this free event will be provided with transport and enjoy sandwiches, cake, tea, coffee, crackers and singing along to popular Christmas hits.
Goldies attendees will be entertained by the children of Beckers Green Primary School and one of Goldies Essex Leaders Sue Edwards is bringing along one of her amazing choirs.
Our thanks also go to Braintree United Charities and the Councillors Community Fund, who without their generosity the party would not be possible.
