Viva Brazil – Southend Seafront Hosts Brazilian Carnival Experience

Feel the rhythm of Rio without leaving Essex as Around the World: Viva Brazil takes over Southend seafront on Saturday 17 August 2025! This vibrant, FREE event runs from 12pm to 5pm and celebrates the colours, culture, and carnival spirit of Brazil.

Expect an explosion of live music, samba dancing, capoeira displays, and authentic Brazilian street food – all set against the scenic backdrop of Southend’s Golden Mile. Dancers in dazzling costumes will bring carnival vibes to the High Street, with roaming performances and crowd interaction throughout the day.
