Welcome to the June edition of Oracle. This month, we find ourselves at the cusp of significant change following the local elections held in early May. With a new leader and a new party at the helm of the Council, exciting times lie ahead for Southend.

We congratulate the newly appointed leader of the Council, Cllr. Daniel Cowan who gives an insight into Labour’s plans for our town. The recent elections also brought noteworthy success for the Green Party in Leigh where Cllr. Stuart Allen secured a second green seat. Stuart has shared with us his party’s plans and thoughts for Leigh, emphasising their commitment to ensuring Southend becomes greener and more sustainable.
