The smash-hit Legally Blonde The Musical is heading to Southend! The all-new UK and Ireland tour of this Broadway and West End sensation arrives at the Cliffs Pavilion from 16–21 March 2026, promising Southend audiences a fabulously fun, feel-good night at the theatre.
Presented by producers ROYO and Curve, this bold new production reimagines the beloved story of Elle Woods—based on the hit film starring Reese Witherspoon and the original novel by Amanda Brown. With original music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and a book by Heather Hach, the show blends upbeat songs, heartfelt moments, and plenty of courtroom sass.

Directed by Curve’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, known for his acclaimed productions of Kinky Boots, A Chorus Line and The Wizard of Oz, this latest staging of Legally Blonde is set to be a vibrant, empowering celebration of being yourself.

About the Show
Elle Woods is the queen of pink, but when her boyfriend dumps her for someone ‘serious’, she trades her heels for textbooks and sets off to Harvard Law. What follows is a hilarious, heartfelt journey that proves you can be smart, stylish, and successful without changing who you are.
