Southend’s First-Ever New Year’s Eve Fireworks

This ground breaking event promises to make Southend the ultimate destination for ringing in 2025 with style, excitement, and sparkle.
Two Stunning Displays to Light Up the Night
Why settle for one fireworks show when you can enjoy two dazzling displays? From a barge east of Southend Pier, the night sky will ignite in vibrant colours, visible from across the seafront. While the entire promenade offers fantastic views, City Beach stands out as the prime spot to soak in the magic.
- 6 PM: Family-Friendly Fireworks
Kick off your evening with a spectacular display designed for families and early birds. Little ones will love this early show, leaving plenty of time for a stroll along Southend’s lively seafront. Why not treat yourself to some piping-hot doughnuts or a spin in the arcades for a perfect festive outing? - Midnight: Countdown to 2025
As the clock strikes twelve, Southend will erupt in a grand midnight display to usher in the New Year. Expect a breathtaking show that will leave you in awe, marking the start of 2025 with an unforgettable bang.

This landmark event is made possible thanks to the Southend Tourism Partnership, with generous support from Kingpins Southend, Atlantic Pacific, Royals Shopping Centre, Roslin Beach Hotel, and Southend-on-Sea City Council.
