October 12th marked my first 100 days as an MP, and what an exhilarating journey it has been! In this time, I’ve participated in 17 votes in Westminster, delivered three parliamentary speeches, met with 18 key stakeholders from Southend—such as the police and hospital representatives—and attended 33 community events.

It’s been a whirlwind couple of months since July 4th. It was an immense privilege to become Southend East and Rochford’s first Labour MP that night. I know the responsibility this honour carries, and don’t take it lightly.
