Classic Land Rover Defender Day 2025 – Shoebury & Leigh-on-Sea Convoy

Attention all Land Rover Defender enthusiasts! The very first Annual Land Rover Defender Day is set to roll out in style on Sunday 19th October 2025, and it promises to be an unforgettable celebration for fans of the iconic British off-roader. Whether you own a Defender yourself, or simply admire these rugged vehicles, this event offers the perfect opportunity to join like-minded enthusiasts and experience the true spirit of the Land Rover community.

The day kicks off at 10:30 am at Shoebury East Beach, where classic Defender owners will gather to line up their vehicles for the start of an impressive convoy. From there, the convoy will make its way to Leigh Marina in Old Leigh, with an estimated arrival between 11:30 am and midday. Spectators and residents of Leigh-on-Sea can expect a spectacular sight as a fleet of these legendary 4x4s rolls into town, showcasing models old and new in their full glory.

Once the convoy reaches Leigh Marina, the celebrations continue with a BBQ feast and live music courtesy of Sylk HiFi, creating the perfect soundtrack for an afternoon by the water. The relaxed setting at Leigh Marina offers a fantastic spot for families, car lovers, and anyone who wants to soak up the atmosphere.

This event is not only about admiring these vehicles but also about community spirit. Local businesses, including Grey Starling Antiques, Kendrick’s, The Blooming Camper, Hatheurá, and Survival, are showing their support, helping make the day a true local celebration.
